Milwaukee native Hunter Felknor is an associate in the firm's Miami office and practices in the areas of auto negligence, trucking negligence and first party property. He received a congressional appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). Hunter played football for the Mariners and sailed abroad on the MV Sealand Commitment before continuing his education at Miami University and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications. He served as president of Phi Alpha Delta pre-law society and social chairman of Phi Delta Theta. Prior to graduation, he obtained an academic fellowship and conducted a formal research project while hiking the Himalayan mountain range of Nepal from Lukla to Mount Everest base camp. Hunter subsequently attended Ave Maria School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school, he worked as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern at the Office of the State Attorney in the 20th Judicial Circuit.

Prior to joining the firm, Hunter represented creditors and homeowners in foreclosure actions at a general civil litigation firm in Naples, FL. After practicing law and before joining Wadsworth Huott he attended and graduated from Leadership Collier Foundation's GAIN, an exclusive program through the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce specifically designed for emerging leaders and professionals.

Hunter is admitted to practice law and remains in good standing with both the Florida and Wisconsin Bar Associations. He is a member of the American Bar Association and Florida Bar's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
