Derek H. Lloyd is a Partner at the firm’s Miami, Florida office. Mr. Lloyd practices general civil litigation, and has defended clients in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, automobile negligence, construction negligence, negligent security, employment discrimination and general personal injury.

Mr. Lloyd received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami. Mr. Lloyd has also served as intern to the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber, United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois. While in law school, Mr. Lloyd had an internship with the Dade County State Attorney's office.

Mr. Lloyd practiced in Chicago, Illinois for several years, trying cases in Cook and DuPage Counties. Mr. Lloyd is admitted to the Florida Bar and the Illinois Bar. Derek is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Illinois Bar, and the Cook County Bar Association.
