Guy F. Giberson is a partner in the Miami office of Wadsworth Huott, LLP and heads the firm’s commercial practice. He is an experienced litigator who handles all types of complex commercial matters including corporate litigation, securities litigation, professional liability, construction litigation, real estate litigation and creditors’ rights. Mr. Giberson has extensive experience in class action litigation, fraud litigation and receivership litigation. He is also experienced in handling insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.

Mr. Giberson is admitted to practice in Florida and New York, the United States District Courts of the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the New York Bar, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Giberson earned his J.D. at the University of Miami College of Law (1996) where he graduated magna cum laude. While attending law school, Mr. Giberson was a member of the University of Miami Law Review where he served on the Executive Board as an Articles and Comments Editor. He is the recipient of book awards for criminal law and criminal procedure and was admitted to the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Giberson earned a B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (1992) where he majored in economics.

Mr. Giberson was formerly a partner at the law firm of Tew Cardenas, LLP in Miami, Florida and an associate attorney at Latham & Watkins in New York, New York.
